TYPES OF TENNIS BALLS FOR JUNIORS
Red Balls: Slower bouncing foam or red felt balls for children 3 - 9 years old playing on 36-foot courts. Balls bounce at about 25% the height of regular tennis balls.
Orange Balls: Slightly larger than a regular tennis ball and designed for use on a 60-foot court. Ideal for children ages 10 and under, balls bounce at about 50% the height of regular  tennis balls.
Green Balls: Same size as regular tennis balls and intended for children ages 12 and under as well as adult beginners. Balls bounce at about 75% the height of  regular tennis balls.
